My name is Brenda. One of my greatest passions in life is photography. I love seeing the beauty of life through a lens and seeing the final product come to life on a computer screen, canvas or in a beautiful album or a magazine. I have a calling for capturing your special, loving and growing moments with your family, whether it be capturing the romance of your engagement, your first kiss as a married couple or the precious moments following the arrival of your beautiful new baby. I capture your memories that will last a lifetime.

I also have a passion for fashion photography. It is one of my favourite genres of photography. I love to push the creative boundaries, whilst working with other talented professionals such as stylists and hair and makeup artists. I enjoy helping models along on their professional career by capturing images for their portfolio. It is also exciting helping professionals along on their career paths by capturing their unique styles in portfolio images for their personal branding.

My career in Photography

I have worked as a photographer for People Magazine focusing on their fashion photography. At People Magazine I have had the privilege of photographing an array of celebrities and models on these amazing fashion shoots. I have captured magical moments of models showcasing designer’s collections on the SA Fashion Week runway. I also ventured into photographing general events, food and product features for the magazine. Prior to being People Magazine’s Photographer, I worked as their Picture Editor, which included sourcing the best images to complement the articles featured in the magazine.

I have worked with a number of models assisting them with creating their model agency portfolios.

I have captured special memories for beautiful families, including happy moments with new babies, blissful moments of a mother patiently waiting for the arrival of her baby, the excitement of a bridal party and the happiest day of a couple’s life.
